We are proud to present the first private, specialized home for accomodating and care of the elderly in Belgrade, lux category - "AGAPE Home for the Elderly. We are located in the peaceful part of the city in Vozdovac, at 86g Zaplanjska street.
Our home offers luxurious accomodations, top of the line care and services for 60 users. From hygene and nourishment to medical services, work therapy and social life, everything was planned in the goal of providing high quality care and making our users feel safe, comfortable and cared for.
Taking care of our users is our expert staff consisting of a social worker, doctor, physical therapist, nurses, caretakers and others whose only goals are health, comfort and happiness of our clients.
Services
Our specialized staff is here to offer high quality services to our clients. Under the supervision of a nutricionist, our kitchen prepares three meals and two snacks as well as making amendments to the meals of any user with special nutrional needs.
Our social service plans individual and group activities and organizes social events, celebrating holidays, birthdays, board games, picknicks, various creative workshops and groups. In a word - a wholesome cultural and entertainment life of our users. The social workers are also always there to talk with our clients so they don't feel lonely.
Our home offers medical services, directed and overseen by a general practise doctor, including taking blood pressure, blood sugar levels, EKG, medication administrating, IV administrating, bed sore treatments, placing catheters etc. For all specialized services under the home's staff supervision, specialist doctors are called in or our users are transported to medical fascilities indicated by them. The home also offers physical therapy for the users as well as massage. If necessary the home brings in emergency medical assistance and transportation to appropriate medical fascilities.
Accomodations
Agape home has 4 floors with overall capacity of 52 users. All floors are connected with a luxurious hydraulic elevator for 10 people. The rooms and apartments are modernly equipped, each with a bathroom, cable television, telephone and an SOS button for immediate alert of nurses/caretakers. We offer single, double and three-bed rooms as well as appartments. The bathrooms are adapted to every users' mobility. Rooms for the ailing and immobile persons are located in a separate floor with special 24 hour care.
The home has a nicely decorated yard for rest and relaxation
Everything is aimed at maximum comfort and so every floor includes rooms for rest and socializing with a beautiful panorama so our users can choose between the privacy of their rooms and socializing with other users in large common areas.
Each floor has designated nurses/caretakers so all our users are taken care of at al times. Every floor also has their own mini kitchen connected with a separate elevator with the home kitchen for quick and convenient preparation of mini meals so every user can feel at home.
