The National Association of Parents of Children with Cancer NURDOR was founded as a non-profit, apolitical and non-governmental association in order to give every child with cancer, regardless of nationality, religious belief, and economic status, providing conditions for adequate treatment and recovery. The founders are parents healed and children who died, the medical staff with hemato-oncology department and volunteers. The goals and tasks of the National Association of parents of children with cancer have been providing organized assistance to children sick with cancer and their parents. The Association is an association of local related associations in the territory of Serbia. Member of the Association may be any citizen of the Republic of Serbia, if there is no local association of the institution where their child is treated or if the place of residence there is no local association and who accepts the Statute of the Association and expressed readiness to work on achieving goals and objectives of the Association. Current projects: - Publication of a handbook on malignant diseases. - Organization of rehabilitation for children suffering from malignant diseases. - Advice for parents whose children are treated for cancer. - Training for health workers who work in departments where the treated children and adolescents. - Equipping the surgery for the prevention and remediation of changes in the mouth in children undergoing chemotherapy. - Equipping a playroom for children and young people. - Equipping the space for the parents from the interior so.
