AWT THERAPY WITH ACOUSTIC WAVES
The problem areas (belly, posterior, thighs, arms) are exposed to compressed air in order to break down cellulite and smooth out the surface skin. Be it resilt of inadequate lifestyle, physical inactivity or stress, cellulite is the number one problem of today's modern woman. The latest reasarch has shown that the "orange peel" look in various stages occurs in around 80 percent of female population. Ladies combat this problem in various ways, but the leading pop icon Madonna has added acoustic wave therapy to her priority list for her perfect look. - AWT means introducing high energy waves in the form of high frequency oscillations in the body region affected by cellulite. The device used for this method, D- aktor 200, "attacks" the affected area using compressed air which causes rapid pulsing in the surface and the waves are transmitted into the tissue beneath the skin where cellulite resides. This form of treatment was discovered completely by accident, because AWT has been sucessfully used in medicine to break down kidney stones (ever since 1980) as well as while treating orthopedic conditions and sporting injuries. While treating athletes, the doctors noted the patients' skin condition improving and cellulite disappearing.
How is AWT done? It lasts on average half an hour and it is a simple procedure: contact gel is applied to the target area in order to properly conduct the acoustic waves into the body without energy dispersal. Depending on the stage of the cellulite, the aparatus is tuned to the patients' needs (oscillation frequency) and then slowly ran across the problem area. With light vibration the patien has the feeling of the celulite "ironing", evening out or most subtly breaking down and the result is smooth, gently pink skin. The most delicate areas affected by cellulite are backside, thighs and upper arms, because this is where the binding tissue most easily relaxes and softens. Those are the most suitable areas to yield imbalance between lipogenesis and lipolysis inside the cells which then forms large fat cells that give the skin the orange peel look. Painless and non-invasive, this method has no age limit so the young people can use it as well. Depending on the condition, six to ten treatments are done with three to four days breaks.

What is achieved using AWT?

CAVITATION - lyposuction without scalpels or scars
After much research, the experts have discovered the right ultrasound frequency (28-40kHz) which affects fat tissue and eliminates fat reserves in the body. Lyposuction without surgery using CaviStar aparatus guarantees results in human body shaping in an efficient, safe and permanent way. Results are permanent and visible already after the first treatment (2-6 cm) Now those whose only solution up until recently was lyposuction can be relieved because all that can also be achieved using CaviStar which reshaped the field of medicine and aesthetics. The effect of this aparatus on the human organism can be described as lipolysis using ultrasound cavitation. The cavitation effect is a physical manifestation caused by sound waves colliding in liquid. It is an occurence which begins after liquid particles are disintegrated by evaporating them due to the pressure done by the ultrasound head. The whole process produces energy contractions which lead to disintegrating fixed cellular complexes or macromolecules which also leads to disassemblement of triglycerides from the fat reserves through mollecule emulsion and physical tearing of the membrane. After the distruction of the fat cells, the fat in the form of triglycerides goes into the intercellular fluid where it is broken down into glycerol and higher fat acids through the process of enzyme activity. The glycerol goes to the blood and the higher fat acids into the liver where they are metabolized just like the fat we intake through nourishment. It is important to point out that a large part of this fat travels through the organism in the form of lipoprotein and must be spent by aerobic physical activity or it will build up in another area once again. The energy of the ultrasound wave is through the treatment concentrated at a precise depth in the tissue which ensures selective breakdown of fat cells while leaving the surface intact, allowing the patient to return to their daily activities.
