Back to: Accumulators
Accumulators are one of the most important parts of every vehicle. They are like the heart of a car and without them cars, buses and trucks would not be able to start. In addition, batteries are used in various other devices such as UPS, solar systems, generators, electric lawn mowers and others. If you need a battery, on this page you can find listed places where you can get batteries in Belgrade.
How long do batteries last
When we think about buying a new battery, one of the most important questions is "how long will it last?". Battery life depends on many factors, including quality, size, usage and maintenance. A properly used and quality battery can last from 3 to 5 years or even longer.
What types of accumulators exist
Accumulators differ in the technology used to make them. The most common types of batteries you will come across are lead-acid batteries, AGM batteries and gel batteries. Lead-acid batteries are an older version of the battery, and are the cheapest, while AGM and gel batteries are newer technologies and therefore much more reliable, but also more expensive.
What to pay attention to when buying a battery
If you like to travel and are often on the road, it is recommended to choose an AGM battery. They are stronger than lead-acid batteries and have greater resistance to vibrations. On the other hand, if you are not a person who often sits in your vehicle, a better option is a battery that retains energy for a long time, i.e. slow emptying. Gel batteries have exactly this characteristic.
Battery maintenance
Like any other device, batteries require maintenance in order to last as long as possible. If you regularly check the liquid level in them, clean the terminals and check the voltage, you will keep your battery in good condition for a long time.
