Special Ophthalmology Hospital STANKOV OFTALMOLOGIJA began its operations in 2000 as the Specialist Ophthalmology Clinic STANKOV, led by Prof. Dr. Branko Stankov, with a team of four, focusing on pediatric ophthalmological issues.
Thanks to the increasing interest of patients in general ophthalmological services and additional specialist activities, STANKOV OFTALMOLOGIJA gradually expanded its team and introduced new systems into its operations. Today, STANKOV OFTALMOLOGIJA has a team of twenty-five members who successfully address a wide range of ophthalmological problems, including contactology services, strabismus treatment, cataract surgeries, ablation, vitrectomy, and many other procedures.
The polyclinic part of the hospital is located at Terazije, where various ophthalmological examinations for children and adults are performed, covering all aspects of the anterior and posterior segments of the eye. The hospital's inpatient section houses a modern surgical unit and recovery area for the swift and careful recovery of patients post-surgery.
