The restaurant was founded on 01/04/1928. as an innkeeper, Mr. Blagoja Trpkovic in the then Crown Prince Peter Street no. 57. Then disposed of the restaurant with three rooms, small kitchen and terrace. Restaurant staff consisted of a cook, waiter and bartender.

The restaurant is changed through the centuries, also has changed owners and name. In 1950 he began renovating the restaurant and renamed 'Old Serbia', which was kept up to date. In 1998 the restaurant 'Old Serbia'is starting to work as part of the company Asprom.

Although the restaurant is renovated you can still say that one of the most popular ethnic restaurants in Belgrade. The restaurant will delight you with delicious dishes of local cuisine and hospitality waiters who are dressed in traditional clothes, you will return during the 50's.

The restaurant has a large hall, cellar and garden. Capacity is about 50 seats, which is embellished with pictures of old Belgrade and portraits of Serbian kings and famous figures of the fifties. Restaurant offers you the opportunity to rent a hall for various celebrations and business lunches.

The Tavern is decorated in traditional style, solid brick walls which are built in barrels whose purpose is storing and serving wine. Capacity tavern is about 30 seats and is the perfect place for relaxation and enjoyment.
