Ethno Restaurant “Zlatar” has been preserving the tradition of home-style cuisine and family hospitality for 40 years. Since its founding in 1985, the restaurant has grown into one of the most recognizable places in Belgrade, where the flavors, aromas, and atmosphere of old times blend in an authentic ethno setting.
In the warm interior, enriched with antique objects and details from the past, guests enjoy specialties of Serbian cuisine, as well as brandies of our own production.

Menu
At Restaurant “Zlatar,” guests can expect a wide selection of traditional specialties. The menu includes appetizers, soups, charcoal-grilled dishes, meat baked under a sač (traditional clay or iron bell), as well as a variety of salads and desserts.
Highlights include: buckwheat pie, young goat in milk, lamb and veal under the sač, Zlatar schnitzel, walnut pie, and dried plum pie.
For those who prefer lighter meals, the offer includes homemade soups, salads, and cakes prepared according to traditional recipes.
“Zlatar” Brandies
“Zlatar” brandies, produced in the traditional way, are one of the symbols of our restaurant. We offer 30 different types, divided into three categories:
Fruit brandies – plum, apricot, quince, pear, apple, cherry, sour cherry, raspberry, blackberry, blueberry, banana, and others
Barrique brandies – aged in barrels, with rich aromas (plum, quince, apricot, pear, wild apple)
Special brandies – honey brandy, walnut brandy, juniper brandy, mint brandy, St. John’s wort brandy, gentian, and other authentic types
Guests can also enjoy a tasting of different brandies with snacks, and all brandies are available for purchase in various packages.
