Back to: Wall dryers
Wall dryers (professional mechanical moisture dryers) are a life-saving solution in construction, architecture and everyday life when it is necessary to quickly, efficiently and permanently remove excess moisture from residential or commercial buildings. Whether you're dealing with the consequences of burst pipes and flooding, long-term condensation and the appearance of dangerous mold, or simply want to speed up the final construction work in a new construction, these powerful machines are the only proven way to deep dry walls.
If you also need a professional wall dryer or moisture drying service, on this page you can find a list of companies that rent and sell equipment in Belgrade.
Unlike ordinary ventilation or room heating, which only raises the temperature and forces moisture deeper into the plaster structure, wall dryers work on the principle of condensation drying.
The machine uses a powerful fan to draw in moist air from the room and direct it through the internal system of cooling elements. When warm and moist air suddenly comes into contact with the cold surface of the device, rapid condensation occurs - the moisture turns into water droplets that are collected in a dedicated tank or drained directly into the sewer with a hose. Completely dry and slightly heated air then comes out of the machine, which re-absorbs moisture from deep within the walls, creating a constant and safe drying cycle.
The application of mechanical dryers is extremely wide and covers both emergency interventions and planned construction processes:
Drying out after floods and disasters: Burst pipes, leaks at neighbors or intrusion of groundwater require an immediate response. Wall dryers extract water from walls, floors and furniture, preventing permanent deterioration of the building's structure.
Acceleration of construction works: During winter or wet spring months, natural drying of walls after plastering or pouring cement screed (leveling layer) can take months. Machine drying shortens this process to just a few days, enabling a faster continuation of smoothing and parquet installation.
Remediation of mold and moisture in old buildings: If the room does not have good ventilation or waterproofing, the dryers successfully lower the moisture level below the critical 60%, which permanently stops the development of black mold and unpleasant odors.
