ARUENA BELLY DANCE SCHOOL started operating in 2008, and since then, rehearsals have been held on weekends and weekdays, with each group having two sessions per week, or precisely, eight or nine sessions per month. The monthly membership fee is 3000 dinars, and the first session is FREE! We are located in the center of Belgrade, near Vuk's Monument in Zvezdara.
If you can't make it to all the sessions, there's an option to pay for half a month, but in that case, the membership fee is 2000 dinars.
At your request, we have launched a brand-new program that will delight all the ladies who would prefer a slower, lighter, and more relaxed pace of work due to obligations or physical effort. We are pleased to invite you to join us in the Relax program of oriental dance, specially designed to suit someone who can't regularly attend a group that follows a level, older ladies, someone with certain physical limitations, or as a weekly supplement to dance for all those who want a relaxed dance lesson additionally during the week. For women of all ages and professions to have fun, enjoy ourselves, socialize, relieve stress, tighten up, and of course, learn this divine dance. Nothing special is needed for the lessons. Dance in socks and/or ballet flats. Bring anything you feel comfortable in (tracksuit, leggings, long skirt, baggy pants...) and a tight shirt.
The lessons are intended for everyone, regardless of age or dance experience. Starting from the very beginning, with a thorough explanation of the steps and lots of repetition, you will quickly progress and reach a truly enviable level of dance knowledge. The hall has a ballet floor and two rows of mirrors, creating a pleasant ambiance for the working atmosphere.
We exclusively nurture the traditional Egyptian style of oriental dance. At the beginning, basic steps are mastered, which involve gaining control over individual muscle groups (hip, stomach, chest, and shoulder), then basic movements on stage, as well as their mutual combination and creating a beautiful whole! Later, individual dance styles are covered one by one, thereby building and perfecting the future dancer's knowledge.
This way, our member is enabled to build their own way of dancing.

- Khaleeji (dance of Arab coastal countries)

Our dance school is the organizer of the largest international oriental dance festival in this region called "Oriental Fairytales Festival." During the festival, our students have the opportunity to attend seminars with foreign instructors, to affirm and improve themselves. We organize concerts, summer scenes, competitions, dance seminars, oriental evenings, charity actions, cultural events, fashion shows for oriental dance costumes. You can join us recreationally or realize your dance ambitions, the choice is yours!
