The Federation Palace (today "Srbija" palace) was constructed in 1959 for the needs of the government, or more precisely the executive board. The Federation Palace was opened in 1961 during the first Summit of non-aligned countries, so that its six salons, three halls and thirteen conference halls could be used for the great event.
