Bases and covers for swimming pools

When investing in a pool, whether it's a smaller prefab or a larger fixed model, it's important to provide the right accessories to extend its life and make maintenance easier. Pool covers and bases are essential elements that protect the pool from external influences and keep the water clean. They not only facilitate the daily use of the pool, but also save time and money in the long run.

Why use pool covers?
A pool cover has multiple functions. First of all, it protects the water from leaves, dust, insects and other impurities, thus reducing the need for daily cleaning. In addition, it prevents water evaporation and heat loss during the night, which is especially useful for pools that have heaters or are used in the evening. Summer solar covers additionally help in heating the water, while winter covers are more resistant and protect the pool in the off-season, especially from frost and precipitation.

Functions and advantages of pool pads
The pad is placed under the prefab pool and serves to protect the bottom from damage, stones, weeds and friction. In addition to protection, the base provides better thermal insulation, which means that the water loses heat more slowly, and users are more comfortable when entering the pool. The bases come in different materials - from the simplest PE films to thicker thermal insulation layers with a rubberized surface.

Easy to use and maintain
The covers are easy to install - they are simply stretched over the surface of the pool. Larger models often come with roll systems that make handling easier. Cleaning is easy: rinsing with water and occasional drying prevents the formation of mold and sediment. The bases are cleaned at the end of the season, before the pool is assembled, and stored in a dry place. Whether you're looking for basic protection for a prefab backyard pool or professional equipment for larger facilities, you can find equipment at pool supply stores, large chain stores with seasonal offerings.
