PVC foils for swimming pools Belgrade

PVC foils for swimming pools

PVC foils are one of the most practical solutions for covering a swimming pool - whether it is a new construction or renovation of an older building. In addition to providing reliable protection against water leaks, they also contribute to aesthetics, facilitate maintenance and extend the life of the pool.

Why choose PVC foil for the pool?
PVC foils are flexible, resistant and adaptable to different types of pools – concrete, metal, prefab or masonry structures. They are installed as a unique lining over the walls and bottom of the pool and guarantee complete waterproofness. They are ideal for irregularly shaped pools, but also for renovating old pools that no longer hold water or are aesthetically outdated. They are available in various colors and designs - from classic blue and white, to modern tones that imitate mosaic, stone or marble, which visually raises the area around the pool to a higher level.

Installation and durability
The installation of PVC foil should be entrusted to a professional team. The procedure includes preparing the substrate, cutting and shaping the foil according to the dimensions of the pool and welding the joints with heat. Special attention is paid to edges, stairs and places where connections are located. Quality PVC film, especially if it is reinforced, can last up to 15 years with proper care. It is resistant to UV radiation, chemicals and temperature differences, which makes it suitable for outdoor use throughout the season.

Maintenance and repairs
A swimming pool with PVC foil requires minimal maintenance. It is necessary to maintain the correct chemical balance of the water, clean the walls and bottom with soft brushes and avoid aggressive chemicals that can damage the film. In case of minor damages, the foil can be patched with special PVC patches, while larger damages are repaired by welding a new part. On the market in Belgrade, there is a wide selection of PVC films of different thicknesses, designs and manufacturers. They are available in swimming pool equipment stores, construction centers and companies that design and build swimming pools. You can find their list with location in Belgrade on this page.
