(35 Dragon Jovina street)

It was built around the 1890s and in it lived, worked and died the famous Serbian painter George Krstic. With the state grant he graduated from the academy in Munich, where he remained for ten years and painted his first works. Over his travels across Serbia and Italy he painted iconostasis, history paintings, pictures and portraits. He was admitted to the civil service in 1888 as a teacher of drawing. In the specially constructed studio of the house was where Krstic's most famous works were created. The whole house has been preserved intact in its original form and that is rare among the buildings of its kind in Belgrade.
