The lessons take place individually – instruments and group – sol-fa. We follow the official curriculum by the Ministry of Education. Students who would like to gain the basic musical education without an official exam also have access to our school.
In addition to the regular curriculum our students also perform in school concerts, other school’s concerts, national and international competitions, festivals and others.
Ever since our school began work and until today our students have won over 30 awards in various contests.
The name of our music school Amati comes from the surname of one of the oldest violin building families in Italy. The most famous violin builder of the family was Nikolo Amati (1596-1684). The founder of the family was Andrei (1505-1580), and the final is Girolamo who died in 1840. Nikolo, the most famous among them has taught his family knowledge to his students Granccino, Andrei, Giovarneri and probably Antonio Stradivarius.
