The Kalemegdanska Terasa restaurant is located in the most beautiful part of Belgrade, at Kalemegdan, seamlessly blending into the fortress environment. Few major nations will not find traces of their history at Kalemegdan… after countless battles, destruction, and reconstruction, from Roman Singidunum to the mighty Ottoman Gate of the Balkans. In the 15th century, this was the capital city of medieval Serbia. Between the two World Wars, it acquired its present appearance and purpose: a promenade, military museum, art pavilion, zoo, and the most beautiful terrace in the city – Kalemegdanska Terasa. Kalemegdanska Terasa is one of the catering establishments in Belgrade that has not changed its purpose since its establishment in the 1930s.
In addition to its à la carte fine dining offering, the restaurant is renowned for hosting top-tier corporate celebrations and weddings. It is a place where you can get an "all-inclusive" wedding organization – from a church wedding just a minute away from our venue, to a welcome cocktail on the lower terrace, and complete management of the wedding celebration program.
The restaurant offers a spectacular view of the city and the river, and the sunset at Kalemegdanska Terasa has a special hue.
"Gradski restoran – Beograd" ("City Restaurant – Belgrade"), as the venue was called in the 1930s, carries a sense of obligation. Serbian cuisine, born from a blend of influences of various nations that have passed through and lived in these regions, is enriched with European cuisine based on Mediterranean traditions.
