Back to: Weapon replicas
Replicas of real weapons represent an extremely dynamic and popular niche that attracts passionate collectors, military history buffs, airsoft enthusiasts, as well as film and theater industry professionals.
If you also need high-quality replicas of real weapons or accessories, on this page you can find a list of stores and military shops in Belgrade, where you can find them.
Decorative (collectible) replicas: Made exclusively for display. They are often made of a combination of metal and wood (like the brand model Denix), they have moving parts (shutter, trigger, magazine), but they are completely non-functional and it is impossible to fire any kind of ammunition from them. missile.
Airsoft replicas (AEG, GBB, Spring): Fully functional replicas used in military conflict simulations (airsoft). They shoot 6 mm caliber plastic pellets using an electric motor (AEG), gas (GBB) or spring, and many models also have a blowback effect (shutter recoil) for maximum realism.
Film and theater props (Props): Specialized replicas adapted to scenographic needs, which can be lighter (made of rubber or plastic for stunt scenes) or adapted for firing blanks under strict security conditions.
What distinguishes a high-end replica from a toy is the materials and the precision of manufacture. Serious manufacturers (like brands Umarex, Cyma, Tokyo Marui or Denix) use solid metal, steel, zinc alloys and real wood to achieve the identical weight (1:1 scale) of a real firearm. Many replicas are produced under official licenses of world giants such as Glock, Beretta, Colt or Kalashnikov, meaning they carry the original factory markings, logos and serial numbers, making them invaluable to collectors.
In Serbia, the field of replicas and airsoft weapons is regulated by the Law on Arms and Ammunition, where most functional airsoft replicas fall into category D. This means that adults can buy them freely, without reporting to the police. However, the law strictly prohibits wearing and displaying these replicas in public places because they can cause panic and confusion due to their identical appearance. Replicas are always transported in dedicated suitcases or bags, and at home they are displayed in a safe manner, out of the reach of unauthorized persons and children.
