• Arcelor group was formed by merging tree Europe groups Arbed (Luksemburg), Aceralia (Spain) and Usinor (France). These Europe groups have made an agreement to unite their technological, industrial and comercial resources with the goal to make a global leader in the steel industrie. The joining officialy began in february 19th 2001 and the new name, Arcelor was made public in december 12th. 2001. In Jun 25th. 2006 happend the merging between Arcelor and Mitall Steel. This merging gave birth to todays biggest steel manufacter in the world.
