• In our country first rifle associations were founded in Novi Sad in 1790, Pancevo in 1813, Belgrade in 1851, Valjevo and Negotin in 1870, Kragujevac and Nis in 1881. In Serbia was held first earth marksmanship in 1886 and a year later in 1887 was founded Rifle Association of Serbia. Rifle association of Yugoslavia, today Rifle association of Serbia and Montenegro was founded in 1958. (8 organizations are members of Rifle Association of Serbia - clubs, groups, community rifle associations and Rifle Association of Vojvodina with over 5000 members. Archery is our most successful sport. Up to now on the Olympic games, world and European championships we won totally 208 medals in senior and junior competition.
