Print on mugs

Looking for a gift for a birthday, anniversary or other important holiday? Or are you looking for a branded item to give to your colleagues? A mug with a print is a great solution! However, there are a few things you should know before making this decision.

Here's what you need to pay attention to when printing mugs
It's not a gift - but if you've invested effort, time and money, it wouldn't be nice to get a mug that shows only part of your idea, or worse, doesn't tell what it's about at all. That's why it's important to pay attention to a couple of things, the first of which is design. A clear design directly affects the quality of the print, so pay attention to the resolution, contrast and arrangement of motifs/letters. If you've done everything right, it's time to choose a printer. Take a look at their previous works to see for yourself the expertise of the staff and the quality itself. If you have your mug on which you want a print, don't forget to emphasize its material. Ceramics, porcelain, plastic, each of them reacts differently. When it comes to the production technique: screen printing, digital printing and sublimation are the most commonly used. Each of them has its own advantages and specifics, so it is important to choose the one that best suits the type of design, the purpose of the mug and the number of colors. Digital printing allows a rich spectrum of colors, while screen printing can be limited by certain palettes.

What does the price of printing on mugs depend on?
The price of printing depends on the chosen technique. Digital printing and sublimation have a slightly higher price, but allow for more complex and detailed designs and have a fixed cost regardless of the number of colors. Screen printing is a more economical and better option for smaller runs. It is charged per color, so it is important to consider their number of colors in the design. However, as with other printed products, the price per unit decreases with increasing order quantity, but also increases depending on the material. So check all the details and options in time.
