Face lifting

Face lifting is an aesthetic treatment that aims to lift and tighten the sagging skin of the face and neck. It is a popular option among people who want to rejuvenate their appearance and regain self-confidence.

What is a face lift and who is it for?
A face lift is a surgical or non-surgical procedure used to lift and tighten the skin of the face and neck. This treatment is used by people who have loose skin, wrinkles, loss of muscle tone and other aging-related skin conditions. It can restore jawline definition, tighten the neck and remove excess skin.

How is a face lift performed?
A face lift can be performed in several ways. The first is a surgical facelift, which involves incisions behind the ears or along the hairline to tighten deeper layers of skin and muscles.
Next, a less invasive procedure that focuses on lifting the midface and lower jaw, is the mini facelift. And finally, a non-invasive lifting that uses radio frequencies, laser therapy or ultrasound technology to lift and tighten the skin.

Advantages and disadvantages of face lifting
In addition to improving the appearance of the skin, it reduces wrinkles and fine lines, lifts the cheeks and tightens the neck. A facelift can improve self-confidence and a youthful appearance. In the long term, the results of the treatment can last from five to ten years, and patients can enjoy a younger appearance. If it is a surgical facelift, recovery is necessary and there are certain risks and complications, such as swelling, bruising, scarring or infection. On the other hand, a non-surgical facelift can provide temporary results and requires periodic maintenance to achieve optimal results.
